Andrew Mangiapane’s late equalizer and Rasmus Andersson’s overtime winner lifted the Calgary Flames to a 4-3 victory over the Seattle Kraken on Monday night.

Mangiapane tied the game with 4:07 remaining in regulation, capitalizing on a rebound past Seattle goalie Joey Daccord. In overtime, Andersson’s initial shot was stopped by Daccord, but he converted his rebound with a wraparound attempt at 3:28, securing the win for Calgary.

Andersson’s goal was his third of the season. Elias Lindholm opened the scoring just 1:16 into the game, and Jonathan Huberdeau added a power-play goal midway through the first period.

Dan Vladar made 28 saves for the Flames, who have now won three of their last four games. Their only loss in that stretch came in a shootout. Calgary remains unbeaten in Seattle, improving to 6-0-0 against the Kraken, including a 6-3 win earlier this month.

Jordan Eberle and Jared McCann scored 2:04 apart in the second period to give Seattle a 3-2 lead. Vince Dunn added a goal and an assist, but the Kraken have yet to win three consecutive games this season.

Eberle, who has seven points in his last five games, scored for the second straight game. His backhanded shot in front of the net tied the game at 2-2 at 8:21 of the second period.

Two minutes later, McCann netted his eighth goal with a deft redirection of Adam Larsson’s slapshot, sending the puck over Vladar’s shoulder and into the net for a 3-2 Seattle lead.

Daccord entered the game at the start of the second period, replacing starter Philipp Grubauer, and made 22 saves. Grubauer stopped five of seven shots in the first period before being replaced. He had a heavy collision with Calgary’s Martin Pospisil early in the game. Pospisil’s breakaway goal was immediately waved off for goalie interference following the collision.
