Tolvanen, a 25-year-old left wing from Vihti, Finland, has grown significantly since joining the Kraken. Originally drafted 30th overall by the Nashville Predators in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, Tolvanen was claimed off waivers by Seattle in December 2022. Since then, he has become an integral part of the Kraken’s roster, contributing 32 goals and 68 points in 129 games over the past two and a half seasons.

Before making his mark in North America, Tolvanen played for Jokerit in the KHL, earning an All-Star game appearance.
