Jake Walman netted two goals for the Sharks, while Macklin Celebrini, Mikael Granlund, and Will Smith each contributed a goal and an assist. Timothy Liljegren also scored, and Ethan Cardwell tallied his first NHL goal in the third period to secure a 7-5 advantage.

Kostin capped off his memorable night by dropping the gloves with Will Borgen midway through the third period to complete his Gordie Howe hat trick.

Shane Wright led Seattle with two goals, both on the power play, and Yanni Gourde, Oliver Bjorkstrand, and Chandler Stephenson each found the back of the net.
