Dylan Samberg netted the game-winning goal 1:47 into overtime as the Winnipeg Jets rallied from a two-goal deficit to defeat the Seattle Kraken 3-2 on Sunday night.

Cole Perfetti contributed a goal and an assist, while Kyle Connor also found the back of the net. Vladislav Namestnikov added two assists to Winnipeg’s offensive effort. Eric Comrie secured the win in the net with 14 saves.

Comrie briefly exited the game in the first period after being run into but returned after Connor Hellebuyck stepped in for 10:10, stopping five of six shots in relief.

For Seattle, Jani Nyman and Michael Eyssimont scored, while Joey Daccord recorded 23 saves in a losing effort.

Perfetti drove wide on the right side in overtime before sending a pass across the crease to Samberg, who buried a shot past Daccord’s blocker to seal the victory.

Seattle took an early lead, with Nyman converting on a power play midway through the first period. Eyssimont doubled the advantage with 4:37 left in the opening frame.

Winnipeg responded late in the first, as Perfetti got the Jets on the board with just 17 seconds remaining. Connor then evened the score at 2-2 in the second period, notching his 36th goal of the season with 8:18 left.
