Shane Wright Scores Twice, Adam Larsson Adds Goal and Assist as Kraken Defeat Blackhawks 6-2

Shane Wright netted two goals, while Adam Larsson contributed a goal and two assists, as the Seattle Kraken stormed back to defeat the Chicago Blackhawks 6-2 on Tuesday night.

Matty Beniers had a goal and an assist, while Jordan Eberle and Jared McCann also scored for Seattle. Andre Burakovsky chipped in with two assists, and goaltender Joey Daccord stopped 27 shots to improve his record to 23-18-4.

Tyler Bertuzzi registered a goal and an assist for Chicago, and Connor Bedard also found the back of the net. However, the Blackhawks continued their struggles, losing for the sixth time in their last seven games (1-4-2). Spencer Knight made 24 saves in the loss.

The Blackhawks jumped out to a 2-0 lead late in the first period, with Bertuzzi doubling their advantage at 17:13. Just 31 seconds later, Larsson answered for the Kraken, putting them on the scoreboard.

Seattle took control in the second period, as Eberle tied the game at 5:55 with a one-timer from the right circle off a Chandler Stephenson pass. Just 26 seconds later, McCann fired a shot from the left circle past Knight to give the Kraken a 3-2 lead.

Beniers and Wright extended the lead with goals 2:20 apart later in the second period, and Wright capped the scoring at 6:55 of the third, sealing the 6-2 victory.
