Ryan Lindgren scored the go-ahead goal early in the third period for his first tally with Seattle, helping the Kraken pull away for a 4–2 victory over the San Jose Sharks on Saturday night and end a four-game losing streak.
Chandler Stephenson contributed a goal and an assist, while Eeli Tolvanen and Ryker Evans also found the net for Seattle, which earned just its second win in the past 12 games. Joey Daccord anchored the effort with 34 saves.
San Jose got goals from Adam Gaudette and Colin Graf, and Yaroslav Askarov turned aside 28 shots in the loss.
After Tolvanen opened the scoring midway through the second period by scooping up a loose puck and firing from the right circle, the Sharks answered on the power play. A point shot deflected in front, setting up Gaudette for a simple backhand finish to tie the game.
Seattle regained momentum late in the second when Evans blasted a long shot through traffic from the left point to knot the score again after San Jose briefly grabbed the lead early in the third.
Lindgren then delivered the decisive goal at 4:27 of the third, stepping into a shot from the left side that beat Askarov cleanly. It was Lindgren’s first goal in 33 games dating back to last season and his first since joining Seattle in the offseason. Stephenson picked up the assist, extending his point streak to eight games.
Stephenson sealed the outcome with an empty-net goal with 1:24 remaining, stretching his personal goal streak to four games.
