Jordan Eberle, in his first season as captain of the Seattle Kraken, scored 48 seconds into overtime to secure a 2-1 win over the Calgary Flames on Saturday night. Eberle’s goal was his fifth in six games to kick off the season, capping a hard-fought battle between the two teams.

Calgary took an early lead with Blake Coleman’s power-play goal at 19:51 in the first period. The Kraken responded midway through the second period with a power-play goal of their own, as Chandler Stephenson tied the game at 12:25.
