Jaden Schwartz scored a power-play goal early in the third period, helping the Seattle Kraken extend their winning streak to three games with a 3-1 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday night.
Matty Beniers and Brandon Tanev also scored for Seattle. Beniers opened the scoring 4:18 into the second period, and Schwartz doubled the lead with his milestone 200th career goal at 1:34 of the third.
Former Kraken forward Ryan Donato cut the deficit for Chicago with his eighth goal of the season just minutes later, but Tanev sealed the win with an empty-net goal with 19 seconds remaining.
Goaltender Joey Daccord made 18 saves for the Kraken, while Petr Mrazek stopped 23 shots for Chicago.
