Jamie Oleksiak broke a tie with 3:13 remaining in the third period, securing a 3-2 victory for the Seattle Kraken over the New York Islanders on Saturday night. The win extended Seattle’s streak to four games.

Yanni Gourde and Jared McCann also scored for the Kraken, while Brandon Tanev contributed two assists. Joey Daccord was solid in net, making 22 saves.

Brock Nelson and Pierre Engvall scored for the Islanders, who had earned points in their previous five games (3-0-2). Ilya Sorokin stopped 24 shots for New York.

Gourde opened the scoring at 8:10 of the first period with his first goal of the season, but Engvall equalized for the Islanders with 6:22 remaining.
