John Gibson delivered a standout performance with a season-high 42 saves, and Alex Killorn scored the decisive goal in the second period as the Anaheim Ducks ended their losing streak against the Seattle Kraken with a 5-2 victory Wednesday night.

Killorn, Cutter Gauthier, and Trevor Zegras each contributed a goal and an assist for the Ducks, who bounced back from Monday’s 3-2 loss to Seattle. Frank Vatrano and Brett Leason added first-period goals to give Anaheim an early 2-0 lead.

Seattle responded with goals from Eeli Tolvanen late in the first period and Oliver Bjorkstrand midway through the second to tie the game at 2-2. However, Gibson’s solid goaltending kept the Kraken at bay, while Joey Daccord stopped 28 shots in net for Seattle.

Killorn broke the tie at 10:02 of the second period with a precise wrist shot, set up by Mason McTavish and Zegras. Gauthier extended the lead with a power-play goal late in the second, and Killorn assisted on Zegras’ third-period goal to seal the victory.
