Matt Duchene and Wyatt Johnston scored 45 seconds apart in the opening period, and Casey DeSmith stopped 35 shots to lead the Dallas Stars to a 3-1 victory over the Seattle Kraken on Monday night.
Mikael Granlund added an empty-net goal with just over a minute remaining to seal the win as Dallas extended its winning streak to six games. DeSmith has now won eight of his last nine starts.
