Philipp Grubauer turned aside 31 shots, and Eeli Tolvanen scored twice in the final period as the Seattle Kraken pulled away for a 4–1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday night.

Jordan Eberle and Chandler Stephenson also scored for Seattle, which has now won four straight games after a rough stretch that saw the club drop 10 of 11. Tolvanen and Stephenson each chipped in an assist.

Philadelphia’s lone goal came from Carl Grundstrom, while Dan Vladar finished with 16 saves. The Flyers went 0-for-3 on the power play.

Grubauer, backing up regular starter Joey Daccord, secured his second consecutive victory. He also stopped a season-high 40 shots in Seattle’s 3–1 win over Anaheim on Dec. 22, with Grundstrom scoring the only goal against him late in that contest.

After a scoreless opening period — Seattle’s 10th straight game without a first-period goal — the Kraken broke through midway in the second. Kaapo Kakko set up Eberle in the slot, and the captain buried his team-leading 14th goal at 3:48.

Stephenson doubled the lead early in the third, snapping a shot from the right circle at 5:49 after a slick feed from Tolvanen, who extended his point streak to six games.

Tolvanen sealed the outcome with two empty-net goals in the closing minutes after Philadelphia pulled Vladar.
