Jordan Eberle scored on the power play, Frederick Gaudreau and Ben Meyers added goals, and the Seattle Kraken withstood a late push to defeat the Los Angeles Kings 3–2 on Tuesday night.

Joey Daccord was sharp in goal, stopping 35 shots. At the same time, Eeli Tolvanen contributed two assists as Seattle continued its resurgence, winning a third consecutive game after a stretch that saw the club lose nine of 10 in regulation.

The Kings got goals from Kevin Fiala and Andrei Kuzmenko, but Los Angeles was again limited offensively, scoring fewer than three goals for the seventh straight contest. Pheonix Copley made 25 saves in his first NHL start since December 2023 after returning from a torn ACL.

Seattle struck first early in the second period when Eberle capitalized on the man advantage, beating Copley high over the left shoulder for the Kraken’s fifth power-play goal in six games.

Gaudreau doubled the lead shortly after, benefiting from a miscue as Copley failed to corral a fluttering puck that slipped between his pads following a disrupted shot.

Meyers made it 3–0 on a rush chance before Los Angeles responded late in the second with Fiala’s goal. Kuzmenko then pulled the Kings within one on a wraparound midway through the third, but Seattle held firm down the stretch.

The Kraken played without top defenseman Vince Dunn, sidelined with an upper-body injury, while forward Berkly Catton returned after missing eight games.
