Kaapo Kakko scored twice and added an assist, Berkly Catton recorded the first two goals of his NHL career, and the Seattle Kraken kept rolling with a 7–4 victory over the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night.

Seattle extended its impressive run to nine straight games with at least a point (8-0-1), the second-longest streak in franchise history. Jared McCann chipped in a goal and an assist, while Jordan Eberle and Ben Meyers also found the net. Joey Daccord turned aside 32 shots, and Matty Beniers, Vince Dunn, and Freddy Gaudreau each posted two assists.

For Boston, David Pastrnak scored twice, Viktor Arvidsson added a goal and an assist, and Mason Lohrei also scored. Jeremy Swayman made 20 saves in the loss.

Seattle seized momentum late in the second period. Meyers broke a 2-2 tie with 1:37 remaining, and McCann struck on the power play with just 0.5 seconds left to give the Kraken a 4-2 edge heading into intermission.

Kakko pushed the lead to 5-2 midway through the third, and Catton followed with his second of the night at 5:40 remaining. Catton’s first NHL goal came a period earlier on a play that also marked Kakko’s 100th career assist.

Boston mounted a late push as Lohrei and Arvidsson scored less than three minutes apart to cut the deficit to two. Kakko answered by sealing the win with an empty-net goal with 12 seconds left.

Eberle opened the scoring at 8:50 of the first period during an extended 5-on-3 advantage, notching his team-leading 15th goal of the season. Pastrnak responded minutes later by racing down an end-to-end pass from Nikita Zadorov and tying the game.
