Andre Burakovsky and Brandon Montour scored just 24 seconds apart early in the third period, propelling the Seattle Kraken to a 3-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks on Monday night. This win marked Seattle’s eighth consecutive triumph over Anaheim.
Shane Wright added a goal for the Kraken, while Joey Daccord turned away 21 shots to help Seattle improve to 6-2-0 since Nov. 8.
Frank Vatrano and Trevor Zegras scored for the Ducks, whose season-best four-game points streak was snapped. Lukas Dostal made 24 saves for Anaheim.
Burakovsky notched his first season goal 46 seconds into the third, deflecting the puck past Dostal to tie the game 2-2. Moments later, Montour fired a shot from the top of the right circle, beating traffic and Dostal for his seventh goal of the season, giving Seattle the lead.
