Vladislav Kolyachonok scored his first goal of the season with 5:44 remaining, breaking a late tie and sending the Dallas Stars to a 3–2 victory over the Seattle Kraken on Wednesday night.

The Dallas defenseman fired a low wrist shot from near the left boards that slipped past Joey Daccord, providing the decisive goal. Roope Hintz and Esa Lindell also found the net for the Stars, while Casey DeSmith turned aside 26 shots.

Dallas continued a strong road trip, earning seven of a possible eight points over four games. The Stars improved to 15-5-4, sitting second in the NHL standings, five points behind the Colorado Avalanche.

Seattle got goals from Brandon Montour and Vince Dunn, the latter tying the game just 19 seconds into the third period. Daccord finished with 18 saves for the Kraken, who were playing their first game since a 1–0 shootout loss to the New York Islanders.

Hintz opened the scoring midway through the first period, with Montour answering minutes later for Seattle. Lindell restored Dallas’ lead early in the second before Dunn’s quick equalizer set the stage for Kolyachonok’s late winner.
